Teeth can play a big role in hard-to-treat bodily pain.
This isn't entirely unknown. There are many studies that link occlusion (how your teeth touch) with posture and postural instability. It's only logical that anything posture related can also be pain related.
Postural Restoration talks about this issue quite extensively. It's also something I experienced personally.
