Ankle sprains can have a completely destabilizing effect on the human body and cause our system to shut down normal movement as a protective mechanism. Unfortunately, this protective mechanism is counter-productive in the long run since it restricts movement and normal diaphragmatic breathing. This video is an exploration of the role of past ankle sprains as a potential contributing source of my bodily pain that plagued me most of my teenage and young adult years.
