SI joint pain on the left side is often a result of left hip instability, particularly with how the left hemi-pelvis connects with the left leg. That important junction can weaken due to muscular weakness found at the left hamstring and adductor. When the left hip is weak, and left pelvis unstable, this can affect the stability of the left SI joint.
When this is the situation, strengthening the left hip through special Postural Restoration exercises can take stress off the left SI joint.
