The Spiderman is a dynamic warmup that helps establish range of motion in the hips by giving a great stretch to the hip flexors of the straightened leg while also giving a stretch to the adductors (inner thigh) of the front leg. The keys are to keep your back flat while allowing your hips to sink. Your back leg should be straight. I do about 6 reps on each leg.
